What is the SICAV Fund?
A SICAV fund is a type of joint-stock company with variable share capital, governed by the French abbreviation SICAV (Société d'investissement à Capital Variable). This fund collects funds from investors with the aim of investing them in various types of assets that individual investors would not be able to afford on their own due to their high cost.
The fund subsequently purchases selected assets and generates income, for example from rentals, sales or revaluations based on market value. This income is then distributed among investors in the form of an increase in the value of their investment shares.
YDeal Funds SICAV a.s. establishes various sub-funds, such as the YDeal Real Estate sub-fund or YDeal Cars. Each of these sub-funds represents a separate investment class (in this case IA class A). The sub-funds operate independently of each other, which means that the risks of one sub-fund do not affect the others.
How can I buy and sell fund shares?
Purchase of shares
The fund's shares can be purchased through the fund's distributors, while this service is currently offered by the company CYRRUS a.s. If you want to contact us directly, you can use the contact form in the menu or by phone at +420 731 885 556.
Sale of shares
Can I sell my investment shares to another person?
To transfer investment shares of the Subfund, it is necessary to obtain prior written consent from the Manager. This consent will be issued by the statutory authority on the condition that the transferee meets all requirements set by the Statute or the Fund's statute, as well as applicable legal regulations. In the case of a transfer between existing investors, consent is granted without the need for additional review.
In the event of a transfer or transition of the ownership right to investment shares of the Subfund, the new owner is obliged to immediately inform the Fund of this change. In order for the transfer of a share in the form of a deed security to be effective against the Administrator, it is necessary to notify the change of owner and submit the relevant share to the Administrator. If the new owner is not a qualified investor according to § 272 of the Act, such a transfer is not taken into account according to § 272 paragraph 3 of the Act.
What is the riskiness of the fund compared to other investment instruments?
SICAV funds are generally classified as investment instruments with average to slightly better risk. One advantage is that these funds are regulated entities, which provides a certain level of protection for investors, whether they are self-managed investment companies or non-self-managed entities.
However, each investment product carries specific risks that depend on its structure. Various risks are always associated with investment instruments and the return of the originally invested amount is not guaranteed.
Do not hesitate to contact us for more information. Our specialists will be happy to explain everything to you in detail.
